United Concordia Dental proudly presents Chomper Chums®, a dental hygiene-focused mobile app. This educational tool is designed to assist parents in teaching their children proper brushing techniques and instilling long-lasting oral wellness habits. Geared towards children aged 4 to 11, the app aims to develop healthy dental routines from an early age.

Chomper Chums® helps children cultivate essential oral hygiene habits, such as brushing for two minutes, twice daily, along with flossing and rinsing. The app features three endearing animal characters – a lion, horse, and alligator – that children can name and engage with during brushing sessions, guiding them on proper brushing techniques.

Through vibrant animations, the app encourages children to cover all areas of their mouths by showcasing the inside of the chosen animal's mouth during brushing. Kids can enjoy a fun activity of chasing “sugar bugs” around each quadrant for 30 seconds. By brushing correctly twice a day for the recommended duration, they earn coins to buy food items and care for their animal friend.

Children have the option to feed their animal character healthy or less healthy foods, impacting their character's health and emphasizing the importance of nutritious choices. Moreover, dedicated brushing earns children the prestigious “Super Smile Award,” unlocking exciting new adventures for their animal companion based on continued oral care.
